{"id":1471,"date":"2017-03-16T23:48:57","date_gmt":"2017-03-16T23:48:57","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.cec-icmc.org\/?page_id=1471"},"modified":"2023-07-10T01:32:14","modified_gmt":"2023-07-10T01:32:14","slug":"posters","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.cec-icmc.org\/2023\/conference-program\/presentation-guidelines\/posters\/","title":{"rendered":"Poster Presentation Guidelines"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"lead\"><span style=\"font-size: 11pt;\"><strong>Presentation Upload &#8211; Indico<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">All presenters are encouraged to upload an electronic copy of their poster in <strong>PDF\u00a0format<\/strong> prior to their presentation at the scheduled CEC\/ICMC\u201923 session.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">By participating at CEC\/ICMC\u201923 and submitting your poster presentation to Indico, you implicitly agree to publish the content of your presentation on the public Indico site. <strong>Presentations will be available indefinitely unless it is removed by the author.\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Poster upload instructions for Indico are available <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.cec-icmc.org\/2023\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/06\/Presentation_Upload_Instructions.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">here<\/a><\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr \/>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>Poster presenters must be present in Honolulu to discuss the work and answer questions at the appointed time in the program.<\/strong><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 11pt;\"><strong>Poster Presentation Guidelines<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Your poster must correspond to the title and content of the abstract you submitted.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Please <strong>display your assigned presentation ID<\/strong> prominently in the title area of the poster.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">It is <strong>NOT acceptable<\/strong> to merely post a copy of your paper. Such presentations will be marked as a \u201cno-show\u201d presentation.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Each horizontal poster board side measures 4 ft (height, top to bottom) x 8 ft (width, right to left), (121 cm x 243 cm) and has two sides.<\/li>\n<li>Each poster presentation is assigned to one side of the poster board.<\/li>\n<li>Your poster must be designed to fit within the confines of a 43&#8243; (109 cm) high x 91&#8243; (276 cm) wide poster board and consist of materials that can be mounted easily with push pins (provided by CEC\/ICMC\u201923 onsite). <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.cec-icmc.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/05\/Posterboard_Dimensions.jpg\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Click here for a poster board image as a reference.\u00a0<\/a><\/strong><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Poster boards will be labeled with the presentation ID number. Please add your poster to the poster board with the presentation ID added to your title in brackets.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Plan for your poster to be in logical sequence, i.e., introduction, study design and methods, data collected, conclusion.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Authors will be permitted to view other posters in the nearby area where posters of similar topic are clustered. Please keep in mind that authors are expected to be available for attendees.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">If you have more than one poster and they are not side by side, then you need to spread your time over all poster presentations. <strong>Please add a note on the poster board your other location(s) and the time you expect to be present.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Authors are responsible for printing their own posters.
