{"id":1056,"date":"2016-11-04T22:18:29","date_gmt":"2016-11-04T22:18:29","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.cec-icmc.org\/?page_id=1056"},"modified":"2025-03-27T10:47:21","modified_gmt":"2025-03-27T16:47:21","slug":"icmc-lifetime-achievement-award","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.cec-icmc.org\/2025\/icmc-lifetime-achievement-award\/","title":{"rendered":"ICMC \u2013 Lifetime Achievement Award"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: center;\" class=\"lead\"><strong>CRYOGENIC MATERIALS AWARD FOR LIFETIME ACHIEVEMENTS<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The award consists of a certificate, a $4,000 honorarium, a plaque (designed by the Awards Committee), up to $1,500 to cover personal travel expenses to accept the award, and free registration for this year\u2019s conference and two subsequent ICMC conferences.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Nominations can be made by all experts in the field. The nomination will consist of a (two to three page) letter addressed to the Awards Committee Chairman and contain a thorough description of the candidate\u2019s achievements in the field of cryogenic materials. A CV and a publication list of the candidate should be attached.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The nomination letter will address in detail:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">the quality of his \/ her research,<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">the innovation of his \/ her research,<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">the international recognition gained for his \/ her work,<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">the worldwide reputation of the candidate, and<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">the candidate\u2019s impact on the field.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Three nomination letters will be needed to qualify for the selection procedure.
