{"id":1471,"date":"2017-03-16T23:48:57","date_gmt":"2017-03-17T05:48:57","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.cec-icmc.org\/?page_id=1471"},"modified":"2025-04-08T17:55:07","modified_gmt":"2025-04-08T23:55:07","slug":"posters","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.cec-icmc.org\/2025\/authors\/presentation-guidelines\/posters\/","title":{"rendered":"Poster Presentation Guidelines"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"lead\"><span style=\"font-size: 11pt;\"><strong>Presentation Upload &#8211; Indico<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">All presenters are encouraged to upload an electronic copy of their poster in <strong>PDF\u00a0format<\/strong> prior to their presentation at the scheduled CEC\/ICMC 2025 session.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">By participating at CEC\/ICMC 2025 and submitting your poster presentation to Indico, you implicitly agree to publish the content of your presentation on the public Indico site. <strong>Presentations will be available indefinitely unless it is removed by the author.\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Poster upload instructions for Indico will be made available at a later date.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr \/>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>Poster presenters must be present in Reno to discuss the work and answer questions at the appointed time in the program.<\/strong><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 11pt;\"><strong>Poster Sessions Location<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>All Poster sessions will take place during the CRYO EXPO in the Tuscany Ballroom on the 2nd floor of the Peppermill Resort.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 11pt;\"><strong>Poster Boards<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Each horizontal\/landscape poster board side measures 8 ft (width, right to left) x 4 ft (height, top to bottom), (2.4 m x 1.2 m), and has two sides.<\/li>\n<li>Each poster presentation is assigned to <strong>one side<\/strong> of the poster board. <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.cec-icmc.org\/2025\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/05\/Posterboard_Dimensions.jpg\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Click here for a poster board image as a reference.<\/a><\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Poster boards will be labeled with the presentation ID number. Please add your poster to the poster board with the presentation ID added to your title in brackets.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Plan for your poster to be in logical sequence, i.e., introduction, study design and methods, data collected, conclusion (see additional information further below).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 11pt;\"><strong>Poster Presentation Guidelines<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Your poster must correspond to the title and content of the abstract you submitted.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Please <strong>display your assigned presentation ID<\/strong> prominently in the title area of the poster.<\/li>\n<li>A minimum size is &#8220;extended A0&#8221;, for example ~5 ft x 2.7 ft (1.5-1.6 m x 0.84 m).<\/li>\n<li>Your poster must consist of material that can be mounted easily with push pins (provided by CEC\/ICMC 2025) and is typically printed on paper or canvas, rolled up and transported in a protective tube.<\/li>\n<li>Authors are responsible for printing their own posters.<\/li>\n<li>It is <strong>NOT acceptable<\/strong> to merely post a copy of your paper. Such presentations will be marked as a \u201cno-show\u201d presentation.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Authors will be permitted to view other posters in the nearby area where posters of similar topic are clustered.
