{"id":1056,"date":"2016-11-04T22:18:29","date_gmt":"2016-11-05T04:18:29","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.cec-icmc.org\/?page_id=1056"},"modified":"2026-10-02T18:38:37","modified_gmt":"2026-10-03T00:38:37","slug":"icmc-lifetime-achievement-award","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.cec-icmc.org\/2027\/conference-program\/awards\/icmc-lifetime-achievement-award\/","title":{"rendered":"ICMC \u2013 Cryogenic Materials Award for Lifetime Achievements"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2>Nominations Now Open<\/h2>\n<p class=\"lead\">The award recognizes significant lifetime achievements in the field of cryogenic materials.<\/p>\n<h2>Award<\/h2>\n<p>The award consists of:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A certificate<\/li>\n<li>A $4,000 honorarium<\/li>\n<li>A plaque designed by the Awards Committee<\/li>\n<li>Up to $1,500 to cover personal travel expenses to accept the award<\/li>\n<li>Free registration for the current conference and two subsequent ICMC conferences<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>How to Nominate<\/h2>\n<p><strong>Nominations are encouraged and may be submitted by experts in the field by January 12, 2027.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The nomination package should include a <strong>two- to three-page letter<\/strong> addressed to the Awards Committee Chair describing the candidate\u2019s achievements in the field of cryogenic materials.
