This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and disclose personal information through the website we own and operate, cec-icmc.org<\/a> (the \u201cSite\u201d). This Privacy Policy applies to information collected through the Site and related conference registration activities conducted through the Site.<\/p>\n

Sharing Information with Other Conferences and Events<\/h3>\n

During conference registration, you may choose whether to authorize CEC\/ICMC to share your contact information with organizers of other conferences or events covering similar scientific topics, such as the Applied Superconductivity Conference (ASC), European Conference on Applied Superconductivity (EUCAS), Magnet Technology Conference (MT), and IEEE Council on Superconductivity (IEEE CSC).<\/p>\n

If you authorize this sharing, the recipient organizations may use your information to communicate with you about their own conferences and events, including conference news, announcements, and registration opportunities.<\/p>\n

Only attendees who affirmatively authorize this sharing will have their contact information provided to these organizations. Choosing not to participate in this sharing does not affect necessary administrative communications from CEC\/ICMC about your own registration or conference participation.<\/p>\n

This permission is separate from your choices regarding sharing information with exhibitors and inclusion in the post-conference attendee list.<\/p>\n

Information Provided to Exhibitors<\/h3>\n

During conference registration, you may choose whether to authorize CEC\/ICMC to share your contact information with participating exhibitors so they can follow up with you about their products, services, booth locations, hosted events, and other offerings relevant to the conference.<\/p>\n

An attendee contact list may be provided by email in Excel format to registered exhibitors before the conference. A post-conference attendee contact list may also be provided upon request.<\/p>\n

Only attendees who authorize sharing with exhibitors will be included in these lists. This preference is separate from your choices regarding sharing information with other conference organizers and inclusion in the post-conference attendee list.<\/p>\n

Post-Conference Attendee List<\/h3>\n

During registration, attendees may choose whether and how their information is included in the post-conference attendee list. The list may be made available as a password-protected PDF on the CEC\/ICMC website for a limited time after the conference. An attendee’s selection determines whether their information is included and, if so, what information is displayed.<\/p>\n

Other Disclosures<\/h3>\n

We may disclose personal information when required by law or when reasonably necessary to respond to valid legal process, protect the rights or property of CEC\/ICMC or others, address security or safety concerns, or comply with applicable legal obligations.<\/p>\n

If CEC\/ICMC undergoes a reorganization, merger, acquisition, or transfer of relevant assets, personal information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to applicable law and appropriate safeguards.<\/p>\n

Opt-Out and Communication Preferences<\/h2>\n

You may choose whether to receive optional CEC\/ICMC promotional communications where a choice is offered. You can also unsubscribe from promotional emails by using the unsubscribe link included in those messages or by contacting us at cecicmc@centennialconferences.com<\/strong><\/a>. Please allow up to 10 days for an opt-out request to be processed.<\/p>\n

We may continue to send necessary administrative communications relating to your registration, payments, conference participation, or other requested services, even if you unsubscribe from promotional emails.<\/p>\n

Your preferences for receiving CEC\/ICMC promotional communications are separate from your registration choices concerning sharing information with exhibitors, sharing information with other conference organizers, and inclusion in the post-conference attendee list.<\/p>\n

If your information has already been provided to a third party in accordance with your previous preferences, you may need to contact that third party directly to stop receiving its communications. We will update our own records and future disclosures as appropriate, subject to applicable law.<\/p>\n

You may contact us at any time with questions about your information or to request access, correction, or deletion, subject to applicable law and any legitimate retention requirements.<\/p>\n

Security and Data Retention<\/h2>\n
