New for 2021 CEC/ICMC – Late-Breaking Abstract Submissions: due date June 28

While the main program is almost finalized, because CEC-ICMC is virtual in 2021, we are planning to try to include late breaking sessions. This is new for CEC/ICMC’21, to allow anyone who is still interested to have the opportunity to present.

The abstract site has been opened for submissions until June 28. Late-breaking abstracts may arrive too late to be organized into theme-oriented sessions, however they will be organized into overall topics. If they arrive soon enough, they may be considered for theme-oriented sessions if possible.

Abstract Submission Deadline Extended: 11:59 PM EST, April 26, 2021
Abstracts that are not submitted to the submission site by the deadline will only be considered at the discretion of the Program Chairs.

  • All authors of accepted Oral and Poster abstracts will be required to upload an electronic copy of their presentation to the CEC/ICMC’21 virtual platform ONE WEEK prior to the start of the conference.
  • Registration is a requirement for anyone presenting at the conference.
  • To submit an abstract, you must register for an account at CERN.

      • Abstracts will be reviewed by the Program Committee. All abstracts (and papers) must address any aspect of cryogenic engineering and cryogenic materials research.  The subject matter should be technically oriented and feature new, original developments in cryogenic engineering and materials. Abstracts must be written in the English language, must contain enough information to permit placement of the presentation into the program, and must make logical arguments based on scientific or engineering methods. The Program Committee reserves the right to reject abstracts that do not conform to these guidelines.
      • Presentations are either Oral or Poster. The Program Committee reserves the right to change the type of presentation from that preferred by the author.
