On behalf of the 2027 Cryogenic Engineering Conference (CEC) and International Cryogenic Materials Conference (ICMC) Boards, it is our distinct pleasure and honor to invite you to attend the 27th joint CEC/ICMC, which will be held June 13–17, 2027 in Knoxville, Tennessee. The conference will be held at the Knoxville Convention Center.
Come and experience a diverse range of cryogenic-related topics that are the foundation of the conference, ranging from basic cryogenic material properties to large-scale applications. Seize the opportunity to meet colleagues, scientists and engineers from research and industry, to share ideas and experiences and to develop collaborations in Knoxville. The technical program will feature the latest research and state-of-the-art developments in all areas of cryogenics, including hydrogen technologies, cryocoolers, cryogenic material properties, superconductivity, as well as transportation, space, medical, magnet and other applications.
Knoxville is home to the famous Sunsphere best known for being built for the 1982 World’s Fair. Its observation deck offers a breathtaking 360-degree view stretching from downtown to the Great Smoky Mountains including World’s Fair Park, the Tennessee River and the University of Tennessee Campus.
